There were 2 classes of Year 9 Home Economics in 2004 and the teachers were Mrs Hoffman and Miss Rayner. First semester the students learnt about disease prevention through diet and they produced Birthday Cakes. Second semester the students planted and produced a dinner party with the overall theme being entertaining. Gingerbread Houses were designed and created using a variety of lollies for decoration. It was a delicate procedure as the gingerbread broke easily. Every student made a gingerbread house that was 100% edible.
