WEARING
OF UNIFORM
On days students have Physical Education-Outdoor Education the complete
tract suit may be worn to and from school.
• Hair to be tied back with a green or white hair ribbon, scrunchie
or band.
• Short sleeve white, round neck T-shirts may be worn under the
school uniform.
• The school has a hat for all students as part of the College
uniform. It is compulsory for all students to wear the school hat whenever
outside during Terms 1 and 4. No hats are to be worn inside; they are
to be stored in lockers during class.
Jewellery
• One small ring, one fine bracelet and one fine chain can be
worn to school No more than two plain studs or sleeper earrings in each
ear are to be worn.
• No other visible piercings are allowed.
• Religious medals or a cross may be worn under the shirt.
Make-up
• No make-up is to be worn to school, which included mascara,
eye shadow or eyeliner.
Hair colour
• Natural shades.
• No skunk streaks
• Highlights and ‘natural looking’ tips are acceptable
Facial Hair
Students are not to promote the growth of facial hair.
NOT IN CORRECT UNIFORM
Homeroom teachers are to oversee the wearing of the uniform by their
homeroom students. If a student does not have a covering note, the student
will be warned about the breach of guidelines
and a first offence, indicating the date and the nature of the breach,
will be recorded by the HR teacher. Parents will be notified by telephone
that their child is not wearing correct uniform.
When a second offence occurs in a term, parents will be notified on
an official form, which will include a uniform rules sheet to be completed
by the student and returned to HR teacher. After a third offence in
a term the consequence will be a uniform detention that will be initiated
by the HR teacher and supervised by a Leadership Team member.
If there are subsequent breaches, the Year Level Coordinator will request
an interview with the parents to outline the school’s expectations.
