Recently, St Brigid’s College staff participated in a series of Professional Learning days, guided by the Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited 2035 Strategic Plan.
On Tuesday, staff travelled to Halls Gap to work with Leading Teams, take time to reconnect, and share a meal together against the backdrop of the Grampians.
On Wednesday, staff joined Marian College, Ararat, for a day of cross-school collaboration. The day began with a Liturgy, followed by a presentation from Brigidine Sisters, Sr Jacinta, Sr John, and Sr Maree, who shared the Brigidine story and its relevance to our shared Catholic mission.
The afternoon was dedicated to professional networking and collaborative learning, highlighting the impact of educators learning together to drive whole-school improvement and enhance student outcomes.
On Thursday, staff focused on curriculum and assessment development and attended a specialised session on School Wide Positive Behaviour Support.
