Tara Jasper - Class of 2017

Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) & Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).

"In my final years of high school, when asked what I wanted to do after graduating, my answer was usually 'something to do with sport, I guess'. I wasn’t ever really sure. I definitely wasn’t a straight-A student and often thrived more outside the classroom, but I knew I wanted a career that involved movement in some way, shape, or form.

After finishing Year 12, I moved to Melbourne to pursue my sporting interests and began studying Exercise and Sport Science at Victoria University. It was there that I discovered the world of osteopathy and realised it was the perfect fit for me. This path allowed me to combine my passion for sport with helping others through hands-on work, leading to opportunities across a wide range of settings, from elite-level athlete programs to working within lower socioeconomic communities.

Now that I’ve completed my degree, I feel incredibly lucky to be doing a job I genuinely love and am passionate about. Through osteopathy, we have the ability to impact someone’s life positively, and for that, I am entirely grateful."
