Sister Brigid Arthur Scholarship for Excellence
Sister Brigid Arthur Scholarship for Excellence
Our Excellence Scholarships recognise significant achievement and outstanding ability in some or all of the following areas:
- Academic record
- Contribution to the Arts: visual and performing arts, including music, drama and dance
- Sporting achievements
- Social justice and Parish participation
- Leadership and contribution to school life and to the wider community
Students who have significant experience and achievement in some or all of these fields are invited to apply. A sound academic standard is also necessary. Scholarship recipients will be required to commit to the school and the co-curricular programs. The progress of recipients will be reviewed annually.
Any student who is entering Years 7 to 11 in 2025 is eligible to apply and the Excellence Scholarship offers up to a 50% remission on tuition fees.
There is no cost to apply for the scholarship.
All applicants should have a strong academic standard and be able to demonstrate ability in at least three of the five areas.
Academic testing is not required for Excellence Scholarships, however, we do need a copy of your child’s most recent school report and NAPLAN report.
Students who are shortlisted and fulfill the above criteria will be required to attend an interview with the Principal, or nominee, who will make the final decision to offer an Excellence Scholarship to the student.
Application forms are available here or at the Front Office.
